Broomfield: City Council Study Session — Wed, Aug 19, 2026

City Council held a study session to review the revised 2026 and draft 2027 operating and capital budgets, along with an update on the city's Zero Waste initiatives. Graham Clark presented economic and fiscal factors affecting the budgets and overall fiscal health. The Sustainability Team provided data through 2025 on waste diversion and greenhouse gas emissions reduction, building on updates given to Council in February and May, and discussed next steps for the Zero Waste Action Plan adopted in 2022.
