Broomfield View accepts local sponsorship and advertising. This page explains how that works — what it includes, what it never includes, and how to get in touch if you're interested.

What we accept

  • Sponsored placements. A local business or organization can sponsor a specific section or recurring product — for example, "This week's events sponsored by [business]," or "This week in Broomfield, brought to you by [business]." The sponsor gets visible attribution. The content itself is never altered.
  • Display advertising. Standard display ads, via Google AdSense or arranged directly. Every ad is clearly marked as an advertisement.
  • Featured job listings (planned, not yet available). Local employers will be able to pay to have a listing featured in the Jobs section. Any featured listing must be real and accurate — the same standard every listing on the site already meets.
  • Featured business listings (planned, not yet available). Local businesses will be able to pay to be featured in relevant sections. Any featured business must be real and verifiable.

What we never do

  • Sponsored content is always clearly labeled. A reader will never mistake a paid placement for editorial content.
  • Sponsors have no influence over editorial coverage. A business that advertises with us is covered exactly the same way as any other business — we don't soften, suppress, or alter coverage because of a commercial relationship.
  • We don't accept advertising that promotes misinformation, discrimination, or content that conflicts with our editorial values.
  • AI-generated content on this site is always labeled as such. Sponsored content, if AI-assisted, is labeled the same way.
